The Mi Casa project aims to understand what Home means to you. A home can be an experience of space; a moment in time or a memory of past experiences.
My project focuses on the scenes which unfold around the dinner table. Central to my idea of Home is the experience of sharing a meal with my family. Thus, the dinner table becomes the stage where the scene of meal sharing is played out.
I explore the parallel interplay between my reality and my family’s through a series of videos which culminate in our sharing a meal together, with the help of Skype.
I attempted to use music to set the tone and theme for the collection- a soundtrack by Coldplay.
